International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

Shared experiences bring people together. Whether it’s an illness, a natural disaster, or something as benign as a concert, when people experience the same event and can share their stories of how they were affected, everyone in that conversation benefits from the discussion. Survivors of suicide loss have a shared experience like no others. They’ve lost family, friends, classmates, or colleagues to the silent epidemic of suicide that claims so many lives every year. This year, on November 20, survivor events are planned across the country so that people can come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through their shared experiences.
