Training Events

The Jason Foundation invites you to attend our FREE awareness and education community event. This live event will feature a speaker from The Jason Foundation to discuss suicide prevention in the community and how to get involved. Additionally, other community resources will be in attendance to provide education, care, and support. Light food will be provided.

The goal of this training is to provide First Responders with the knowledge, skills and resources to enable them to be better able to recognize the signs of concern and elevated risk factors for suicidal ideation in youth within their community, as well as in co-workers and fellow First Responders.

Suicide is one of the leading causes of preventable death for youth in our state today. This virtual training will introduce you to the national health issue of youth suicide and share information about warning signs, elevated risk factors, and other important supporting materials. This one-hour webinar will enable participants to help recognize/respond to at-risk individuals and better understand the resources available to you within the state.
